The fire pump can’t suck the water, the following ways can help you:

1. Press the water up first, then fill the pump body with water, then turn it on;
2. Check whether the check valve is closed tightly and whether the pipeline and the joint are leaking. If the air leak is detected, apply lubricating oil or blending paint at the joint after tightening, and tighten the screw;
3. Check the oil seal ring of the pump shaft. If the wear is serious, it should be changed to a new one. Check the leak of the pipeline;
4. Check if the nut is tightened. is there air leakage or water leakage? For the temporary repair, apply some wet mud or soft alkali. If there is water leakage at the joint, the nut can be tightened with a plate. If the water leakage is serious, it must be disassembled and replaced with a cracked pipe. Reduce the lift and press the nozzle of the pump into the water 0.5m;
