1) The diesel engine fire pump is not filled with enough oil before starting; it seems that the oil has overflowed from the venting hole, but the air is not completely discharged from the pump shaft so that a little air remains in the oil pipe or pump body.
2 ) The oil level section of the oil inlet pipe should have a gradient of more than 0.5 % down against the oil flow direction, and the inlet end of the connecting oil pump should be the highest, not completely keep level with oil. Upward lifting will leave air in the oil inlet pipe, reducing the vacuum degree in the oil pipe and oil pump and affecting oil absorption.
3) The maintenance of the power machine is not right: the motor is burnt due to the winding, and the diesel engine fire pump is demagnetized. The number of winding turns, the wire diameter, the wiring method are changed during maintenance, or the failure of the maintenance is not completely eliminated, and the diesel engine speed is also changed.
4) The diesel engine fire pump packing has been worn out due to long-term use or the packing pressure is too loose, causing a large amount of oil to be ejected from the gap between the packing and the pump shaft bushing. As a result, external air enters the oil pump from these gaps, which affects the oil extraction.
5 ) due to long-term oil immersion in the oil inlet pipe, holes appear in the pipe wall due to corrosion, and the oil level of the diesel fire pump drops continuously after the operation. when these holes are exposed, air enters the oil inlet pipe from the holes.
6 ) Cracks appear in the bent pipe of the oil inlet pipe of the diesel fire pump, and slight gaps appear in the connection between the oil inlet pipe and the oil pump, all of which may cause air to enter the oil inlet pipe.
