If the pump is not used in accordance with its operation method during the use process, there may be a variety of fault problems. 1. The diesel pump set cannot be started
First, you should check the power supply: whether the connector is connected firmly; whether the switch is tightly connected; whether the fuse is blown; whether the three-phase power supply is lacking. If there is an open circuit, poor contact, blown fuse, or phase loss, the cause should be identified and repaired in a timely manner. Second, check whether it is a mechanical failure of the pump itself.
Common causes: too tight packing or clogging between the impeller and the pump body due to debris; the pump shaft, bearings, and leakage reduction ring are rusted; the pump shaft is severely bent.
Measures: loosen the packing and dredge the water trough; disassemble the pump body to remove debris and rust; remove the pump shaft to correct or replace the new pump shaft.
2. The diesel engine pump heats up
Cause: The bearing is damaged; the clearance of the rolling bearing or the bracket cover is too small; the pump shaft is bent or the two shafts are not concentric; the tape is too tight; the oil is poor or the oil quality is not good; the balance hole on the impeller is blocked, the impeller is out of balance, increasing the direction thrust on one side.
Measures: replace the bearing; remove the back cover, install a gasket between the bracket and the bearing housing; investigate the pump shaft or adjust the concentricity of the two shafts; properly loosen the tightness of the tape; add clean butter, butter accounts for the bearing About 60% of the inner gap; remove the blockage in the balance hole.
3. The pump flow of the diesel pump set is insufficient
This is because: the power speed is not matched or the belt slips, which makes the speed low; the installation angle of the axial flow pump blade is too small; the head is insufficient, the pipeline is too long or the pipeline has a right angle bend; the suction stroke is high; the bottom valve, pipeline And the impeller is partially blocked or the impeller is defective; the water leakage of the outlet pipe is serious.
Measures: restore the rated speed of the diesel engine water pump, remove the belt grease, and adjust the belt tightness; adjust the blade angle, reduce the installation position of the water pump, shorten the pipeline or change the curvature of the pipeline; seal the air leakage of the pump, and tighten the packing; Remove the blockage and replace the impeller; replace the leak reduction ring to block the leak.
